There are lots of small snacks that is easily attainable back in Singapore. However, it is a little more difficult to find it here. So when I chanced upon a Muah Chee recipe, I HAD TO make it! It was the perfect snack for a Sunday afternoon.

Muah Chee is a snack that we usually can get from night markets or hawker stalls. Every bite satisfies both the sweet and savoury craving to be honest! Which is why I love them! Everything was done and ready to be enjoyed in 20 mins! So I will let the pictures do the talking! Little nuggets of deliciousness wrapped in a sugary peanut, white and black sesame mixture!

SO SO GOOD! Please do give it a go! Pour the mixture into a bowl and mix the rest of the sesame seeds. Set aside. You should get a smooth flour mixture.

Pour into a shallow bowl and place the bowl into the Varoma deep tray. Place g of water into the TM bowl and place the Varoma deep tray on top of the lid. Make sure the glutinous rice balls are coated well. Hope you will give this a go and let me know what you think!

You can start right away! My oldest now almost 12 has always been extremely coordinated, and until he was about 6 he was very interested in learning to do anything adults especially me were doing—so he was adding ingredients to the bowl, making balls of cookie dough, etc.

I started letting him use a paring knife when he was 3, and he was as much of a help as a distraction, anyway, and learning useful skills.

He gradually became more and more helpful until he got the idea from peers? After his sister was born when he was 9, he made 2 or 3 family dinners per week of easy foods, so I know he can do it even though he often prefers not to! I expect to encourage it more within the next year, though.

Right on! If I am crabby when I cook I can taste it. I try to keep perspective by reminding myself that we will not be going hungry that meal or the next and being thankful for that.

Why is it that every time we eat food from a holy place, such as holy water which is sanctified by the priests, Hindus have the prasad a devotional offering made to god, typically consisting of food that is later shared among devotees from the temples we feel happy and blessed?

It is simply made with love, positive vibes, prayers and blessings! This is the true power of positivity and good energy and how it has an impact on us!

Imagine if we start to cook our food with love and positive energy every time, what the results can be? If we cook our food with the blessings and love everyday for the people we are cooking for, our food will be no different to prasad or holy water.

The simplest meal is the healthiest meal if prepared with love. So whenever you cook in a happy and cheerful mood, your food will taste delicious and will have healing powers. But, if you cook with anger, no matter how hard you try, the food will not have that level of deliciousness and perfection.

Thus, you have the power to mould the mood of those eating your food! Start by being aware of how you feel. Before you start cooking for your loved ones, focus and centre yourself, accept any disturbing thoughts or feelings and try to let go of them.

I found a beautiful prayer that you all can put up in your kitchens. Read it frequently and remind yourself, food made with love; can affect your food!

May this kitchen and the work done here be a blessing to all who live. You are cooking for your loved ones. Your cooking can bring everyone together and heal them. It is all in your hands!
