I used a power greens blend from the salad section, ginger, fresh squeezed lemon, no added sugar frozen mango, and added some chia seeds to it as well. I have a major sweet tooth but, I did not put any sweetener and it was still perfectly sweet and tart.

Thanks for this perfect recipe! I used spinach instead of kale.. what I had on hand. Organic mango juice from Costco as the base, spinach, frozen peaches, fresh grated ginger as specified, and mixed it up! It was delicious!!

I made it the other night for my husband and I. It has such a sweet and tart flavor and a hint of ginger. Just awesome! I have made this twice now and find myself craving it.

I used spinach just because I always have some on hand. Feel free to use whole or shredded kale, fresh or frozen. Lemon juice adds a bright citrus flavor and replaces the lemonade from the original Jamba Juice smoothie. If you like a more sour taste, feel free to add the juice of one whole lemon.

Agave is added to bring sweetness to the smoothie. In leu of lemonade, I add the agave and lemon juice, along with plant-based milk. Feel free to use your favorite milk I used oat milk. For a thick smoothie texture, you do have to use frozen fruit. If you like more of a liquid smoothie, then fresh fruit should work.
