Our purpose is to aid individuals who have experienced trauma in rebuilding, restoring and strengthening their sense of safety by ending the cycle of violence. We provide access to trauma-informed care by acknowledging how past and present traumatic experiences and stress may impact the individuals and families we are serving.

Our team is specially trained to support the unique needs of survivors and their families to foster hope for a better future. Multidisciplinary approach: After participating emergency departments, clinicians and community organizations refer patients to the Advocate Trauma Recovery Center, they are treated by a team of behavioral health clinicians and trauma recovery specialists trained to support the unique needs of survivors and their families.

Our mission is to support survivors and their families on their path to recovery and healing. We seek to aid survivors in ending the cycle of violence by ensuring they have access to appropriate trauma-informed care, services and resources.

TRC USC is an important tool in the effort to provide California crime victims with free mental health services and support , funded by the California Victims Crime Bureau CalVCB. To offer a safe and supportive array of services to promote emotional health and wellness for those in our community who have been harmed by violence and trauma.
