Ginger may also play an adjunctive role in the treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting, for which it has been shown to be effective. Benefits of ginger for other forms of nausea and vomiting have not been demonstrated in research studies. More research needs to be performed to clarify its role, if any, in the treatment of various forms of arthritis.
