This one is simple--three active ingredients--but all have a long history of use in traditional Asian and Indian medicine. Holy basil which is also known as 'tulsi' is native to Southeast Asia. Traditional healers have used it for centuries for a number of ailments. More specifically, they use different parts of the green leafy plant for different things.

For example, the flowers are used for respiratory illnesses. You can also find it made into an ointment for skin conditions.

It has a lot of nutritional elements like Vitamin A and C, zinc and iron. Relevant to this product, the holy basil plant is known as an 'adaptogen' which helps your body adapt to stress and promote healthy brain function.

Bacopa--from the bacopa monnieri plant--is a more familiar cognitive supplement. You'll find this in a good many products of this type. Bacopa has also been used extensively in traditional medicine for brain function, focus, memory, mental clarity, etc.

Rhodiola has been used for centuries for anxiety, fatigue, depression, etc. It's also an 'adaptogen' and is chock full of nutrients.

The capsules are easy to swallow and have minimal taste. There's a bit of a distinctive taste--'root like' for lack of a better term--but it's not especially unpleasant and doesn't linger. I've taken bacopa and rhodiola for years, though the holy basil is new to me. Make sure to stick to the indicated dosage 1 capsule a day.

There are a few minor side effects from rhodiola documented, particularly at higher dosages dry mouth, dizziness, jitters but they're somewhat rare and most people don't have any problems.

It also suggests that you take it with at least 6 oz of water--probably a good idea for most supplements. I know I feel better when I take these supplements than when I don't. Highly recommended! I have been taking these for a few weeks now and I can't say that I have really noticed much of an improvement.

I haven't had any side effects and I know that the different ingredients are good for me. I plan to finish the bottle and hopefully will see more of a difference. One person found this helpful. I like this product. It doesn't hurt my stomach.

It is easy to swallow. It appears to offer quite a few different benefits. I find that it works best with a good diet and exercise. I enjoyed it more with a little food in my stomach which helps to time the release of the product in my system.

I feel generally good when taking this.
