Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark. In a large saucepan, on medium-high heat add the oil and onions and saute until they become translucent. Add in the garlic, sweet paprika, bay leaves, thyme, salt, and cook for a further minutes.

Cook for a few minutes. Add in the vegetable stock and bring to a boil and then reduce to low-medium heat. Simmer for minutes until the lentils and potatoes are slightly overcooked. Make sure you always have enough liquid to cover the lentils on top and remember to give it a stir every 5 or so minutes.

I made this today. I followed the recipe. And I added Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning, can of diced tomatoes with roasted garlic, a little chili habanero hot sauce to taste, spinach leaves and baby bok choy.
